Engagement Portraits with Raechel & Angus

It’s really rare that I will book a couple without first meeting both the bride & groom in person. It’s very important that we share a good connection, our personalities mesh well, and that we have similar style (photographically speaking) & expectations for the Big Day. After meeting Raechel at the Dallas Bridal Show, I knew I had found a special couple. I just adore these two! They (probably politely) laughed at my really lame jokes and were both adventurous enough to do whatever craziness I asked of them! I’m so excited to be documenting their wedding this September at The Room on Main!

Arwen’s Bridal at Arlington Hall

Arwen & Ryan tied the knot this past weekend, so I get to *finally* show a few portraits from her gorgeous bridal session! I can not tell you how much I just adore this gal (and her entire family – both old & new!).

It was a pretty cold & windy day in Dallas when we all got together at Arlington Hall at Lee Park for her bridals. However, that chill didn’t stop her from adventuring outside for some fun shots with her veil! I absolutely love her floral crown by Garden Gate - isn’t that the prettiest thing ever?!

Paige & Chris’ Aldredge House Engagement

Most of my engagement sessions use only natural light, but when my incredibly awesome couple, Paige & Chris, told me that they wanted to their engagement session inside the gorgeous Aldredge House I could hardly contain my excitement. When it wound up snowing in Dallas on the day of their engagement session, I was beyond excited! Bouncing-off-walls style excited!

Ok, ok, I’ll quit gloating about how my couples are the best EVER and just let you enjoy their engagement session!

Karen & Justin’s Awesome Wedding…..with Elvis!

You might remember this ah-mazing couple from their gorgeous pre-wedding bride & groom session that I posted a bit back. I had to seriously limit how many of their incredible details to show here – every table had a slightly different center piece and they were all so pretty! I *love* how they decorated their ceremony room with ornaments and pine cones! I love how they incorporated the peacock colors throughout their wedding!

And when Karen told me that Elvis would be in the building during their reception I didn’t realize how incredibly epic it would be. And, let me confess, it was EPIC!

Naddia & Josh’s Sweet Dallas Engagement Session

I was so fortunate to meet Naddia at a bridal show a while back and was so excited to be able to shoot her Dallas engagement session! Naddia and Josh are a totally fantastic couple and a complete pleasure to work with! We started our session at Vitruvian Park in Addison before moving down to the Arts’ District. They are planning a super sweet & intimate wedding in California later on this year.

Congratulations, Naddia & Josh!! I know your future together will be full of love, laughter, and adventure!
